In accordance with the general plan of Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Political Department of Ministry of State Security of the People’s Republic of China and Hebei Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department guided the Hebei Province’s National Security Bureau to renovate and recover the former site of Xibaipo CPC Central Committee Ministry of Social Affairs, make preparations and complete the expansion project of Xibaipo National Security Education Hall at the same time on the basis of national security education exhibition-Anonymous Monument carried out in 2005. Xibaipo “National Security Education Base” is composed of former site of Xibaipo CPC Central Committee Ministry of Social Affairs and National Security Education Hall, respectively holding exhibitions reflecting the history of Xibaipo CPC Central Committee Ministry of Social Affairs and concealed front fighting of the party as well as the counterespionage achievements after new China established, so as to strengthen the national security education in the whole party and society and people defensive line construction and enhance national security and secrecy awareness of the masses.
