Kailuan Coal Mine Museum is a typical representative of enterprise museum establishment. As a state-owned enterprise museum, the Museum is located in Tangshan Coal Mine, Kailuan, a city of 130 years of history and praised as “the finest coal mine in China”. Covering an area of 15,000m2, the Museum is a landmark building in National Mining Park of China (Kailuan) with 7,400m2. Construction of it was launched at the end of 2007 and completed in October, 2008 and then it was opened to the public.
