The museum is a four-story western-style classical architecture with 2,000m2 of exhibition zone. Currently, there are more than 7,000 pieces of exhibits in the Museum with more than 1,500 being displayed and exhibited and fairly large amount of them are unveiled to the public for the first time. Exhibits in the Museum are mainly real items. In addition, development history of different police classes is also showed in the Museum. Considering that traffic police is closely related to our life, a special traffic management exhibition zone is set in the Museum, showcasing motor vehicle license plates of different periods and driver’s licenses of different versions of Beijing. In 1950s and 1960s, traffic police caught traffic offences mainly based on their eyes, which has become a thing of the past. Nowadays, electronic tagging has been realized, making more accurate judgment than that of human eyes.
