Road civility serves as an important part in developing urban civilization, thus it is also a necessary content in promoting road civility among children, maintaining their physical and mental health. Weifang Traffic Safety Children Education Center (WTSCEC) situates at Floor 2nd of the Police Physical Training Center of the Weifang Municipal Public Security Bureau, covering an area of some 1,000 m2. The conceptual creation is co-designed by Shanghai Gush Multimedia Culture & Art Development Co., Ltd. and Weifang Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Branch, and the planning design and detailed design are operated by Shanghai Gush Multimedia Culture & Art Development Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the planning, Mr. Zhao Yunfeng, Manging Director of Gush Multimedia, put forward that he hoped the children learn city traffic knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere by simple and attractive methods, having them to grow traffic awareness and inspiring them by “automobile culture” so as to ensure those children become qualified urban citizens. 

 

 

As noted by Mr. Zhao Yunfeng, this education project for the WTSCEC takes children aged 6-12 as subjects and also accepts children aged 3 to 5. At the detailed design stage, Mr. Jin Li. Vice GM, Mr. Wu Weiqi, Chief-Art-Supervisor and Mr. Cheng Jiangxi,  Chief-Market Supervisor of Gush Multimedia noted that various participation methods including scene reconstruction, situation simulation, multimedia interaction, open classroom, video games, prize quiz and award- winning question should be adopted, having children to learn traffic knowledge in a relaxed and happy way.

 

 

The WTSCEC has the following parts: the first part is “little police” physical training center which is composed of intelligent and entertainment devices. The second part is photographing zone and colorful corridor zone. Then we can see ground interaction experience and 3D movie zone, multimedia interaction zone, simulation street, central plaza, intelligent entertainment zone, traffic police service posts, little journalist zone, simulation driving zone and Q & A zone. 

 

 

The construction of the WTSCEC is jointly conducted by Shanghai Gush Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd., Dongfang Decoration Design Engineering Co., Ltd. of the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and Shanghai Gush Multimedia Iks Co., Ltd., .
